Unfortunately we have little access to information on the Bantam. Especially the models sold in the Southern Hemisphere of the world, where you must be if you need heat in July. But generically, when there is no heat, there is a vacuum operated valve that opens and closes to allow coolant in to and back out of heater core. The vacuum line may have fallen off or become leaky, the valve may be stuck closed, or the core is clogged and needs a flush. Make sure your coolant is full in radiator...check cold, never pop hot radiator cap

There is two water pipes that goes into the heater valve. Check if those pipes are tightly connected to heater valve. Check if your heater valve is working(is situated below wiper blade in the bonnet) . Then Check ur switch below the radio( inside the cab)

common on fords, i had the same problem, took the heater unit off, took solenoid off and cleaned it and hey presto, worked again. Happened again now but the seal has split this time so need a new unit (can't buy just the seal) http://www.onlinecarparts.co.za/en/electrical-electronic/41-ford- rocam-heater-control-valve-oe-98fu18495aa.html

Google "Ford Ka heater switch test" there is a video showing how to test the heater control switch, it won't help to test for power on the valve wires as there is constant power feed to the valve but it is controlled by pulsing the power. The video shows how to test if your heater switch is functioning correctly.
