My 2001 or cruiser won't start

Asked by Rosieroseeee Feb 12, 2016 at 09:08 PM about the Chrysler PT Cruiser

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have only had my 2001 pt cruiser for three
months. The other week I drove all the way to New
Orleans and back home, which is like 30 mins away.
It drove perfectly fine. As soon as I turn on the
neighborhood it just stops and shuts off. It wouldn't
start at all, it cranks but won't start. My dad thinks it
jumped time. There is over 100k miles on it. If
anyone knows what it could be please let me know.

possible fuel pump, take the fuel cap off, have some one turn the key to the on position, (but dont try to start) you should hear the fuel pump working. if the fuel pumps working, make sure you're getting spark in the motor, and you're getting fuel to the motor.
