That has been known to help.I would suggest for safety that you use a mechanic's jack stand and observe safety precautions.If you have never done this before,I would find a friend who has knowledge of this type of repair.there are many people who dont mind helping a friend.
To get alternator do u got to take off passenger tire and go through inter fender??
