03 chrysler town and country no power, smells like gas, runs rough

sounds like your "mechanics" are takin' you for a ride roun' town and out into the country- find somebody who can do a real diagnosis without guessing- that guessin' gets 'spensive

I have a 2004 T&C,lost compression in cylinder 2. found broken exhaust valve spring replaced. now have to pull the front head for possible bent valve,hopefully not damaged piston

prior to these repairs, put double platinum plugs,new wires, new ignition coil,no change, don't let them fool you that it is thePCM

i had exactly same prob 03, 3,8l ran rough gas smell from exhaust......turned out that wiring harness for injector 3 was melted above the crossover pipe from exhaust and kept the injector open......found this after replacing head gaskets
