Mercedes Sprinter diesel

Well, you know that there's a certain blend of biodiesel between 5 and 20 at most stations around the USA ...not just Illinois..and it's the quality of the biodiesel that's really important...why didn't you bring that up??? Just giving part information is not good and just raises the "fear factor"... I happen to like my diesel Mercedes Benz... runs great.... And, it's not under warranty.. good luck to you...
I am thinking about buying a Sprinter Class B RV and I'm just trying to learn about problems and how people are dealing with them. It is the "fear factor" that I'm trying to work through as I didn't realize there were states that didn't have B-05.
twlkp76-. Look, there's a legion of folks out there who have a Mercedes Benz, class B motorhome.....and drive them all over the USA.. One of the great things about a Class B Mercedes Benz diesel is the fuel efficiency...a steady 18 MPG.. sometimes more ..on level ground cruising around 60 MPH... you might get up to 20 MPG...not too many motorhomes can claim this. One thing I can definitely tell you is... over time, fuel is the most expensive thing you will put in a vehicle... We recently returned from a trip all across the country.. You're not going to find any station with pure diesel... It's mostly a mixture of B5 to B15... I filled up at most Pilot Flying J Stations...a very good truck stop.... they have a lot of turnover of fuel... here's a link to the rig I purchased.....it's very nice... good luck.. https://www.conejowholesaleauto.com/vehicle- details/f22d7e5afa634d388dbeffb59e9eb708
twlkp76-. One more thing...if you can find a good used vehicle... you're going to save a lot of money....
I’ve heard people paying approximately$200 for Mercedes dealers to reset computer when showing a count down on dash. We’re all of these vans still under warrantee? My dealer is asking for over $6K to fix my problem. Says sensors and catalytic converter need to be replaced.
Under warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles...
