i have a 1978 corvette that i am working on the steering column. the manual tells me in order to remove the key lock cylinder that i have to insert a thin blade or driver into the slot in the trun signal switch housing. then it tells me to break the housing flash loose and at the same time depress the spring latch and hold it down to withdraw the lock cylinder from the housing. what is the housing flash that the manual is speaking of? can you send me a diagram of this? thank you. 1 Answer

yes my lock is triped in the lock position on the 75 corvette new lock mechanism and the door panel is still atached so how do i get the door to open i have access the the two metal roday that i can pull on with a screw drriver is there another latch some were that im missing what are my opttions here 1 Answer

I have the' 90 Vette L-98 coupe, with the overheating problem at a idle, can't burpe the air out of system correctly through the radiator cap. Really need the bleeder on the thermostat housing like 5 Answers
on the' 92-'96 models. Anybody know of an aftermarket bleeder housing out there? Or can I have a bleeder threaded into mine somehow? Any Ideas? Thanks for all you're previous help too. KMAC.

I have a 1969 Chevy Corvette. I have rebuilt or replaced almost every thing. I have not replaced the original A/C compressor but converted it to the new Eco friendly freon. I had it tested three times, had the cooler boxes cleaned out, fan replaced, yet I have trouble getting the car cool. I live in So. Cal. where it is a necessity of life to have the A/C work as good as when new from the factory. I put in heat/sound shielding under the floor mats, and had all components check for proper functioning. I was thinking of going to a serpentine belt system that would get the newest A/C compressor with the system. Has anyone done this or have any suggestions? 9 Answers
The A/C system does not leak, holds the proper pressure
