Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a VW Jetta, the fan runs all the time, has ran the battery dead.

I also have a there problem that happened. What to the car wash and then the speed o stop working along with the gas gage, then the door locks started locking when the car was sitting, locking me out. Now the do not lock out all after driving the car. Then the radio stop working. Also I noticed before the radio stop working. When driving the doors would lock maybe 10 mins into driving and then the radio volume would get loader.

wow... sounds like you have a case of sever vw electrical problems... check out vwvortex.com and look into the regional forums in your area. try to find a reputable dealer or shop in your area. these don't sound like problems you are going to fix yourself. this fan issue is probably something small and unrelated the the rest of the problems. also, open your hood and find your ECU. it should be an enclosed box with a ton of wires going into it. open it up and see if you got any water in there. i find it hard to believe that any of these problems are related but water in your ecu from the car wash could do numbers on your electrical system. Good Luck.
