2006 vw beetle

I just bought a vw 2006 beetle.  I noticed it has started leaking oil.  If you are standing in front of the vehicle the leak is on the left hand side.  It is about middle of the left side.

It may be coming from the top and running down the left side. I just had to replace the camshaft seal and crankshaft seal for leaking oil on my 2000.You may get lucky and just be the valve cover gasket.
