Hello, has anyone figured this one out yet??? I have same issue.

I have 2006 VW Beetle Convertible. I need to run the Cable from Engine Firewall side to the release cable inside the car. Seems to be no where for it to go once you push in the cable it stops after a little bit. I'm getting a borescope should be here tomorrow so i can see inside the stupid hole for where it needs to be going too. One of them things i guess Don
