My BMW made an explosion sound and water and antifreeze starting pouring out. Can it be the radiator or a hose ?

I just bought a 2000 BMW parked the car and while turned off , heard a loud explosion and water and Antifreeze starting pouring from the bottom of the car. Can it have been a hose or something with the motor?

Hopefully it was just a radiator hose. Don't start the engine until this is fixed.
