Head gasket leaking oil

Asked by GuruN1K17 Nov 04, 2019 at 01:52 AM about the 2014 BMW i3 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, I noticed that my 2006 BMW 325i was leaking
oil from the front corner of the head gasket. No
white smoke or water mixing with oil, just the leak
to the outside. What can I do to fix that?
Thanks

Valve cover gasket set will fix the oil leak make sure you clean the surface of all old oil and dirt before installing new ones. Also while the hood is open replace the spark plugs because valve cover gasket leaks almost always have residual oil leaking into the spark plug cavity’s which will cause misfire and fouled plugs SO

YOU NEED TO BE SURE IT IS LEAKING FROM THE HEAD GASKET AT THE BLOCK OR LEAKING DOWN ONTO THE BLOCK FROM THE VALVE COVER FIRST.

also replace the PCV valve as a clogged or malfunctioned PCV valve will put pressure on all the oil seals
