What other motors can fit into an RX7s body besides for the stock 1.3L?

Ive seen videos on YouTube that have dropped LS1 V8's Into an RX7.there was one video of a 1650hp LS1 V8 swap into a 1985 RX7. That thing was scary fast. Also I have seen turboed V6's and even diffirent generation RX7 engines into diffirent RX7 bodystyles. This wouldnt just be an engine swap though, itwould take an,exhaust,suspension, and other modifications to fit a V8 of that size into a little RX7

I worked for Mazda and vow since 79 since 79 they have made adaptersso you can put a 350 engine in your Rx7, I saw quite a few come through the shop, talk about fun The were a blast and fast, now days they make adapters for so many variations of engines, For the old vw we would get Canadian porche motors in the crate years ago bow could order porche parts since In the house all the parts and one warehouse for both Car line’s but stopped the practice when vw dealers started taking parts business from porche, we would get everything at dealer cost which allowed us to make profit .
