Yo! Its up to you man. i havent see a full N/a ka24e but i have seen plenty boosted. its cheaper than/ cost the same if you do a na application or get a new motor and you will get the most power. i have a friend in hawaii that has a hatch with a ka24e that is boosted he loves it! those things have an insane power band and work well with boost. If i were you I would check out cxracing.com they are the only ones i have seen that have developed a full turbo kit for the ka24e. and their prices in general are really reasonable, REALLY REASONIBLE! any body can afford their turbo kits, and the test every kit they develop. go on cxracing and check it out they have a full video on the 240 hatch they tested and developed the kit on.
also check out zilvia.net

It's unreasonably expensive to make any more then 200RWHP with the ka24de when it's N/A. I say going turbo is your best bet.You should look into piecing together a custom kit. The for sale sections of www.nicoclub.org and www.zilvia.net usually have some good deals. I suggest becoming familiar with both sites as they have a wealth of information regarding the S Chassis.
^ totally agree with you man! 240sx specific fourms have a wealth of information
totally go wit boost. these blocks have been known to hold up to 30lbs of boost making 400whp on stock internals

All you need is a Felpro head gasket set, ARP studs, and a good tune. You'll have a prettty reliable beast.
Keep your motor NA. Its not worth the machining/ buying of new parts/ and the down time to boost the tired and under built KA-E. Go get a intake, get a header, do a 2 1/2" exhaust, and go weld your rear diff together. Also go get some shocks and springs and your set! Unless your building a drag car, you dont need HP for drifting ( i assume your trying to drift your 240). You just need stiff suspension, and a locked diff. Save your money, go weld your diff, and stick with the 150ish HP you have. You want more power, step up to a SR20, unless you want to rebuild ur KA.

^ Re-tard PLEASE stay away from an N/A KA24e lmaooo and dont invest in spring/strut combo Just save up a bit more for some GOOD coilovers, megan streets are fine if you dont plan to do much tracking.
It's up to you, but your I suggest you check out cxracing.com they sell a COMPLETE turbo kit for the ka24e. Depending on how much you want to spend. Their kit cost around $1400. It is alot cheaper than putting together a custom kit but has the same if not better quality, and less of a hassle than fooling around with try to make some out of an na application Their company ka24e 240sx, which they based the kit off of, like many 240sx out there had a motor with up wards to about 100k miles on it, but yet was able WITH STOCK INTERNALS was able to put down some considerable numbers on the dyno. That car has been out on the road for a year now and hasent had a problem. The is a video of that same car on YouTube anitiating a drift at 100mph.
if you own two cars go for it. bc you will run into problems that is just the way it is. but once you run out of problems their is no greater feeling than stoping at a red light and some rich boy pulls up next to you with his yellow porsche and you smoke the crap out of him
Why bother asking that question... junk the single cam and swap in a turbo dohc 4 cyl that's cost/time efficient w/ large aftermarket for parts. Wrench turning time < seat time.
I wouldnt be calling people "re-tard" when you told the person to get a fel pro headgasket, and rebuild his KA-E.. The only thing you truly put your opinion into was to not invest in a spring/ strut combo... If the person is asking about boost a KA-E, they obviously aren't trying to spend alot of money, so why would they spend 1grand on coilovers? Especially if you arent going to the track. And dont do a CX racing kit. Just go do some research on KA-T.ORG and you will find EVERYTHING you are looking for on boosting your KA-E.
unless its actually a good porsche (boxster doesnt count) haha
Do you know where i could get my ECU tuned for a 96 240sx ka24de? i have the full turbo kit but im not sure what to do for the ECU

^^^^^^^ EVERY BODY NEEDS TO TAKE A LOOK^^^^^^^ and yes that is CXRACIng the kit was Based of the car that is in the video.
trust me peicing together your own kit is very pricey, How would i know you ask? Because i am doing it right now.I have came to a conclusion that if you have an actual budget that people in the real world have a turbo kit is more realistic.
I was under the impression that this guy is planning to keep his motor
go with either greddy emanage or a piggyback or get your ecu reflashed all 3 ways work
super charge it, check out youtube, very cheap and good power for kae
