what is a "ctv" dipstick? Oil and transmission should just pull straight up on the loop (handle) and voila the dip stick comes out with a tug. I don't know a thing about your make of car - check your owner's manual - I've never seen a tranny or oil dipstick that didn't just pull out BUT AGAIN I don't know what a ctv means.

If you can't help chassy then why answer. the cvt dipstick has a locking tab on it. just push that in and pull it out. Make sure it's clean and don't put the wrong fluid in.

Robert , I really would like to know what a cvt dipstick is? I started by asking a question.

okay so I was playing around a tiny bit, I was kind of hoping that Ronlyman would get curious and find out that he really meant to ask about a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission)

P.S. I just know that people that go into the shop and say things like ctv, or the Abs light is on ( saying it like ABS was a word ) - GET HOSED!
