Golf 7 Alltrack gearbox issues?

Asked by Jørgen May 20, 2020 at 04:24 AM about the Volkswagen Golf Alltrack

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello. First of all, my english is pretty bad, but I'll try
anyway. I own a 2016 Golf alltrack manual gearbox with
about 130000 km on it. I just noticed that it makes a small
jerk in 2.nd gear. This only happens in 2.nd gear under light
accelerating. Always around 1800 rpm. Its not a hard jerk
(doesent feel like a misfire), so you would almost habe to
concentrate to feel it. But its there. I'm thinking its gearbox-
related since it only happens in 2nd gear, but what do I
know. Any gurus in her that maybe have a clue whats going
on?

First of all your English is better than most people who post questions here. Maybe the jerk you feel is drive line slack.
