Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello
I have a 2017 VW Alltrack that has the rain sensing windshield wipers.
Recently my windshield cracked so I took it to Safelight to get the windshield
replaced. It took a while to find the right windshield and they knew about the
rain sensor.

After it was replaced, I noticed a loud humming sound every time I turn on
the windshied wipers. It goes away when I turn the wipers off.  I called
Safelight and they do not know what is going on.  I am hoping here might
know why this is happening so I can let them know.

Thanks.

Rob

Have them check the lower windshield seal, if it isn’t right you can get motor noise up under it. I’m also not convinced they got the right glass.
