overheating problems b13

Found out it there was a leak in the upper radiator hose. Replaced it with a brand new oem japan parts. Had my radiator overhauled. working good now, but after running about 25 kilometers the temp starts to rise again i have a gut feeling it might already be a head gasket leak. Dang, can you guys recommend a good OEM brand for B13 Sentra.?

I am not a mechanic, but I had this problem before with m B13, and this is how I solved it: 1. Radiator cap: Try replacing the Radiator cap. Once you install it you shouldn't remove it unless you need to replace it, otherwise it may get lose and will leak steam. If you need to add coolant, use the the bottle on the side. 2. Radiator hose and stainless steel clamps: Check if the hoses are fine and if the clamps are well secured. With the temperature changes, the clamps usually get a little bit lose, so you may tighten up a little bit with a screwdriver. 3. Radiator leaks: If the radiator is old, there may be leaks or small cracks in it. If that is the case, I would suggest to replace it. Radiators with plastic pipes are not expensive and may work fine for a while. 4. Sensor problems: The thermal switch could be defective. The car is supposed to reach medium temperature for optimal results before try to cool off. I resolved the overheating problems by adding wiring connections from the battery to the fans with a power switch on the car's panel to turn them on when I want to. Where I live there is no snow or low weather temperature, so I don't need the engine to heat up much to work properly. Therefore, after 1 or 2 minutes driving, I turn on the fans on and keep them working all the time. I know this is just a workaround but I haven't had to worry about over heating anymore (peace of mind at last). I decide when the fans need to turn and for how long.
