Hi. The engine in my Audi 2002 a6 2.4 Auto is
gone. Just wanted to know what other smaller
engines can fit, Passat 1.9?  Audi 1.9?

I suggest you replace the A6 2.4 with correct SAME 2.4 engine unless you're ready to spend a lot money replacing and designing a new electrical harness, computer, engine management system, these interact with all the vehicles other systems which are controlled through the CAN (controller area network) this 2002 Audi uses. Regards
