How to fix AC on Toyota land cruiser 2000

Asked by Rob Apr 01, 2014 at 02:23 PM about the Toyota Land Cruiser

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My AC stopped working.  When I turn it on max the compressor clutch tries to kick on
twice but won't engage.  I tried arctic freeze and the meter showed red/warning pressure
around 600.  I tried to fill the freon per instructions but it wouldn't go.  I tried same bottle
on my Prius and it worked fine.  Tried again on land cruiser and it went for a second then
stopped.  There was a lot of liquid on the low pressure tube.  Any ideas
