what is it gonna take to take my 2.3 stang and put in a 351w fuel injected

i have to admit it wont be the cheapest thing to do, but its been done alot and its cheaper to do than goin in debt for a new car. and you have the car, which you can probably insure as a 4cyl for cheap, and you can buy parts as you need them. talk to a shop thats going to do the work and ask for estimate for labor, and then shop arouind for the parts you want. should give you a rough estimate.

well then fiscally it may cost 5000+ if you plan on goin with new parts. a good engine runs about 4k alone...

You can purchase a swap kit , to install a V-8 into a 4 cyl Mustang. This comes with new mounts and specs on setting up for the V-8 conversion. Be advised , it will not be cheap to do . You will allso need to have a beefier transmission , radiator , and you will need to do some re-wiring to install the v-8.
