No answer, just questions. For anyone who might know more than me, you may need to provide more information. What was going on that you needed to test the module? How did you test the module? Is the truck in four-wheel drive or two-wheel drive when you try to start it (might matter, who knows)?. What's the mileage? Have you replaced the timing chain ever, or in the last 100,00 miles? Does the car turn over fast or slow (with a good battery or jump)?
Was not going in to 4X4 ,unplugged the 2 conectors on bottom of module, turned key to on, pressed the button on the module, light flashed 4x. It is in 2 wheel drive, it has 71,000 miles it is in cherry condition never have used the 4 wheel drive. I had just driven it within the last 15 min. Never have had one problem with it. it turns over strong.I was wondering if the computer has gone bad, can't find info on how to test it.
Found the problem, I must have hit the inertia switch while I tested the module reset all is fine.
