My ford bronco 2

Asked by Laterness Mar 01, 2016 at 03:27 AM about the Ford Bronco II

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok my ford bronco 2 has a problem when I
drive it it does great. But then I turn it off
and it won't start again for hours. We did a
complete tune up, new battery, battery
cables, and changed the fuel filter that is
located under the drivers seat. But it tries
to turn over. No loss of power it just won't
start for a few hours. What can I do???

If you haven't solved this by now, check the spark plugs and wires. If they are bad the engine will turn over but not fire depending on the amount of corrosion on them. Replacing the cap and rotor along with adjusting the timing correctly (that depends on your engine). These things greatly helped not only my start up, but my performance overall.
