I would like to have numbers of ford escapes that have had the motors trashed by a leaky head gasket. Is it time for a recall? I had all of 41000 miles on my car when the motor was trashed by a leaky head gasket.

I'm sure that list does not exist. What year Escape do you have? The older model year engines were not known for head gasket issues.

Refer to your owners manual to contact the manufacturer or visit there website. Also run a history report for open recalls.
