Truck heats up at high speed; garage replaces radiator cap

This has happened twice in the last 5 months. Going 75-80 with ac, truck heats up. Heater core replaced a year ago, so took it to same garage. They ran diagnostics and replaced the radiator cap. Happened again 3 months later, so I took it to a different garage. They also said it was the radiator cap. Now it is starting to heat up again. What would make this brand new radiator cap act up???

generally when its a cap its because it doesnt sit right on what ever the tank may be (gas, radiator etc.) it may be that the gasket for one reason or another is wearing or melting forming an improper seal. You may want to try a different coolant and an aftermarket cap rather than an OE cap. hope it works -Jesse

doubt it is the rad cap,bad water pump,blown head gasket.have a repituble shop check it out for theses issues.
