2011 F250 V8,
Issue, when the truck sits for a month without use, the battery is down to 3V
ish. I left a 2 amp charger on it overnight. Let it set 2 hours, battery voltage
was 11.6 V. I disconnected the + terminal to do an amp draw check, it was
.5
Question: how much should the amp draw be when off?

Batt draw tests are a little more complicated than that , a good batt should have 12.5 volts at rest so that may be the problem .
This rig will always have a low battery drain due to the computer systems. Sitting for a month is two weeks too long, any late model should be fired up and running at least every other week to help with battery drain down. now if that is not possible then a battery maintainer should be hooked up during down time. My sister in law had a car that would sit for months at a time and every time she went to start it the battery was too low to crank ti over, so I finally got her to install a solar battery maintainer unit and just sat it on the top of her car, that did it, from then on it always cranked up.
