Diesel f 250 having problems with keeping running.

I have a 2000 F 250 turbo diesel with a edge chip that i have owned for 2 yrs. I had my
diesel gel up on me for the first time on this last cold snap. It has been a week since
then and all the sudden it wants to die on me when i excellerate. Then it will choke out
and it will take multiple tries to get it started again. Some times it will start and idol fine
then i will drive about a mile and it will start up again.  If any body has any suggestions
where to start looking i would be grateful.

okay the ignition switch may be faulty...test it....the search keeps coming up with a "glow plugs relay" when I was asking for the "on" ignition relay...but this is what I found...you can test this one~...replace? http://www.stockwiseauto.com/product_info.php/products_id/199532/fit_id/ 9792/Year/2000/Make/Ford/Model/F- 550%20Super%20Duty/source/googleps? gclid=CMeO1sOwg7wCFYlDMgod8hIA9w
