Is my instrument cluster going bad?

Asked by fueljockey May 19, 2015 at 04:51 PM about the Ford F-250 Super Duty

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After starting 2006 F250 Super duty diesel, parking brake warning light comes on, 4x4 light comes on, 4x4 low lock light comes on, seat belt warning light comes on (but is clicked in place) and warning alarm comes on. Very intermittent. Sometimes all stays on for a bit, sometimes for a long while and sometimes does not happen at all. Truck starts and runs great while all this is happening. Ford dealer has no idea what is wrong.

I have the exact same problem on the same truck, 2006 F250 powerstoke. I did sent my instrument cluster into Circuit Board Medics for a rebuild on the cluster. I hope it works when I get it back.

I sent mine in to Circuit Board Medics, and they repaired mine. Great service! http://circuitboardmedics.com/ford-superduty-instrument-cluster-repair/

I am having the same problem on my "06 f250... were you able to determine the source? After lots of troubleshooting, yesterday I came across what might be a short in the engine compartment fuse box, but I'm not yet convinced this is the source for the dash lights and alarm.
