My 1993 f250 has been acting like it wants
to run out of fuel when im driving. It only
does it when the truck warms up and it acts
fine sitting at lights. I changed out the fuel
filter and still having issues.... Any
suggestions?

Sounds like it could be the fuel regulator. You can test for this if you have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up.
I changed it out over the weekend but still have the same issue so i took the truck to a mechanic who told me that he thought it was a firing issue. He suggested i start by replacing plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, so i did but still no luck, i also noticed 2 broken vacuum lines so i fixed those as well but no luck. The mechanic said it could possibly be the distributor needs replaced. I have no clue at this point. Dont
Check the intake manifold bolts. Snug up the intake bolts.
Is there a vacuum line running to the distributor? Also is the distributor cap like a two piece cap?
Dont see any vacuum lines to distributor and no its just one piece. Just trying all options before i go buy a distributor without knowing if thats gonna be a waste of money too....
I was thinking if the timing was not advancing it would do the same thing. But it is electronically controlled. Like on a Chevy, there is a wire to unplug when you set the timing. It's ben so long since I worked on one of these, just can't remember. May want to pick that other mechanics brain on this. Another thing I was thinking about was the fuel delivery on this. How many injectors does this have? 2 or 8. You could do a fuel pressure bleed down test to see if the injectors are leaking.
