Tires: Suggestons?

Going through my 2nd set of the stock Pirelli P6's Four Season tires the vehicle original came with. Honestly, these have been awful. Heard a lot about Hankook's Optimo H727's and Michelin HydroEdge, but need something that will perform well in Michigan winters. Hankook's rated well.
Any others I might look into?

I like my Yokohamas. They cost about half as much as my 2005 model is worth... but they're totally worth it and make it drive like a different car! Super good grips.
You might consider actual winter tires. Mine (an '05) came with Continentals that really sucked on ice. The Michelin X-Ice 2s I bought were an absolutely huge improvement.
I've got an 05 LTD/AWD, got it pre-owned last year. It came with Hankooks, they're pretty good.
from everything ive seen and heard on tires, all season/4 season tires are not only poor in the summer but in the winter as well. maybe just get a good set of each and just swap them out with seasonal changes
I really like my Perelli tires, We hit a large metal object dropped by a truck and it blew out the tire, The tire never went fully flat and I was able to drive from the middle lane to the curb lane with no frightful swerves or bounce, other cars had much adverse consequences, one lost a wheel and had to stop in the right lane, a truck made it to the curb lane, one lost his transmission and another stopped in the fast lane minus a wheel. Before these I used Goodyear all weather with low pressure.
