Why is it that after replacing the battery nothing
works in my Ford Focus? The windshield wipers
don't turn on the windows don't go up and down
the AC doesn't work

This is due to the Heads at Ford deciding to continually SCREW there Customers after Purchase.....example....for less than $5 enough on-board memory could have been installed/included in the Computer to allow for EASY BASIC MAINTENANCE of the Vehicle...this is what happens when the Turds are Nerds from Microsoft called Engineers!....So many fools so little knowledge....just look at the Windows System!

For anyone who is looking for help: I drive a 2012 ford focus. I just replaced the battery on my own since the battery crapped out at a park and wouldn't be jumped. Afterwards most things reset and the service request started popping up and the check engine light turned on along with having trouble accelerating and braking. I took it to a shop nearby and he reset the warnings and told me I have to keep my car in idle for 2 hours because it needs to properly reset after a battery change, he said if the lights turn back on that I should come back and it may be a 900 problem I am facing instead. Hopefully that's not the case but if you need some help in a similar situation try leaving your car for 2 hours in idle, he said it can reset if you drive around for two hours too but it's sketchy when the acceleration isn't working. I'm leaving my car for two hours in idle right now, will post results when I have them.
I just replaced my battery yesterday and all turned on alright. radio a/c. the only problem is a light went on saying something about transmisssion. Took it to Auto Zone the check it said it needed the Transmission Module Control. Car is having trouble shifting. I haven't driven for 2 hours. Got scared. I'm a woman and can't afford it to break down. What should I do.
