Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I went to make a left turn last night and the left directional started out at normal
cadence and suddenly switched into a very quick cadence.  I thought that Relay 1
(fuse box) needed to be replaced but that didn't solve the problem.  But I noticed that
once I replaced Relay 1 my electric/power windows stopped working.  The original
relay 1 was a 4-pronged relay - the replacement is  5-pronged (a male connector in the
middle).  Do I need to clip off the middle prong on the replacement?  Do you know
what can be causing my left turn signal to blink very fast?

Turn signals blink fast or stop blinking when there is a lamp out. You must check all the lamps for that side turn signal first.

You're absolutely correct. There are two bulbs on each side in the rear. I didn't realize that because every time I turned on the directional and saw it blinking I really didn't check closely. As it turned out, one of the bulbs on the left side is shot.
