my 2002 subaru forester just cuts off randomly whether driving or at idle

If it does it mainly when slowing to stop or while idling it's probably dirty/faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle plate.

I disconnected the mass air flow sensor and it seems is the mass air flow sensor gone bad. thanks for your help
Hey would you recommend I clean those parts mentioned or just change them?
Hello there I've cleaned the throttle valve and it's still doing the same. I'm wondering if it's the Mass air flow sensor gone bad because when I disconnect it the forester don't shut off when idling
