Likely to be your MAF sensor or throttle body needs cleaning, both are very simple quick jobs even for people with zero mechanical ability. Get some throttle body and MAF cleaners from your local auto parts store. To clean the MAF, you undo a single bolt (I think it is a Torx) that holds the MAF into the top right side of the airbox. You may need to disconnect the cable connector to remove it. Plenty of youtube videos with good DIY's. To clean the throttle body, remove the large hose clamps attaching the air hose from the air box to the throttle body, remove the large air hose then spray the carb cleaner onto the butterfly. There should be no black deposits, should be all very clean and shiny. You can manually open it and clean the rear side of the butterfly too.

If your car has air injection into the heads exhaust stream and I think it does), it can be a real issue in these models. The air injection tubing and ports in the head and the cam housings will clog with carbon and literally bake on. I've removed heads and tried cleaning with everything from pipe cleaners, oven cleaner and wire. The only thing that seemed to work was to soak the heads in caustic solution that removes carbon. Lets hope that this is not the cause of the code, as there is no way to prevent it. You can imagine the cost. If it is an idle air intake valve, it's an easy fix. The MAF sensor is even easier, but Porsche parts are expensive. Aftermarket stuff should be your last choice. Good Luck.
