2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport, whats better for this vehicle? should I use regular oil with lucas oil additive? or full synthetic?

Putting synthetic at this point will not benefit you and will be money going to waste. Use a good quality oil and if you have high miles then use one with the extra additive for high miles. The synthetic was not built for your year/model and will only benefit you if you have been using it from day one.
