I have a 2003 Outlander, the engine noise coming from timing belt area, sounds like a washing machine at a low idle, increases when rpm's go up. No warning lights are on, just loud noise

Use caution if belt breaks more serious issues will occur. Inspect belt and tensioner to figure out what's causing the noise. If around 100000 miles its time to change belt.
