my gtp temperture gauge goes up when i am at a still point and when i accelerrate it goes down ive had the plastic elbow piece changed and flushed i tooi ti to dobb they said there arent any leaks and thermostat has been changed?

i was having the same problem but got worst the longer i kept drining to the point of my dash light were freaking out-might want to clean your ground wires they might just be loose or dirty,just an idea not sure if it will help

When you filled the coolant did you open the bleeder screw on themostat housing? The whole system should hold about 12.3 quarts.
sounds like the water pump might be starting to go out and when you accelerate the water pump speeds up causing the coolant to cool down the motor. you could look into that or take a look at the motor when its just sitting and see if the coolant fans kick or not.
