Why is the message center in my 2000 Pontiac Montana displaying "Traction Active"?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Pontiac Montana.  Occasionally, when the vehicle is accelerated up an incline the message center displays "Traction Active".  The front wheel bearings were replaced around 3000 miles ago which cleared an ABS light which was lighting occationally.

cool, trac control is keeping driving wheels from slipping. you will see this mess. when it senses beginning wheel slip- means it is working. (I own transmission shop- most complaints are that it fails to light and wheels slip) ...

And wheel speed sensor, circuit open or shorted, is what code will be present for and and Trac active, mine was a broken wire that traces along the rear of the front control arm, this wiring is often detached during brake service and flex or rub on CV axle
