how do I correct too lean air/fuel mix on a 2005 Vibe? PO171 " mass airflow
sensor bank 1 1 too lean".

If your MAF sensor is sending bad info or the O2 sensor (cars with 2 sensors) is not working correctly it will screw the mixture up in fact when an O2 fails it reverts the engine to Rich

Most likely cause is a vacuum leak. But you could always try cleaning the Mass airflow sensor. With an over the counter MAF cleaner spray.
