Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 2005 jeep grand cherokee that has a 4.7l. It has a bad miss and don't want to
idle. I changed the spark plugs and coil packs but didnt help. The check engine light is on
but code reads oxygen sensor but I was told by a dealer that wouldn't cause it. Anyone
got a clue what it might be.

The Positive crankcase Ventilation (PCV) vacuum system is leaking. At the rear of each heads, hose enters and do split, that will give you a random misfire, in turn will cause O2 not to read accurate.

I just bought a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd. 4.7 V8 motor. Are there any problems with this engine? Is there anything I can do to help the gas mileage?
My 1997 Grand Cherokee did the exact same thing I woke up with a blown head gasket
