Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why is my ac in my 05 jeep liberty only
blowing cold air on the highway and hot air
when stopped....and heat temp will spike
then lower when on highway again or ac is
off?

I also..noticed my condenser fan wasn't working properly.... Could that be the cause?

Yes. If the fan is not working, not enough air will flow past the radiator at idle or slow speeds. As you accelerate, the flow rate increases with the higher speed of the vehicle and the coolant temp decreases.
