My AC clutch is starting to seize I believe...   was
wondering if it is easy to bypass and what I need to
do so.   Tyvm

You can replace the clutch and bearing, it is fairly easy or you can take the AC compressor out completely, but you need a bypass pulley in its place.

SOLVED. I removed seized AC pulley and used a smaller belt ( 82.5" 6 rib ) and completely bypassed that AC... works perfectly.

Had to do this to my daughters 04 Liberty till I found the replacement clutch assembly for replacement. There is a fairly good youtube video on bypassing the ac pully. I bought a smaller belt for around $10 and watched the video for re routing and it worked great till I repaired the clutch assembly.
