replaced the fuel filter. hoping that would fix the problem, it didnt. it starts fine and the fuel
pump works great but it just dies once you push the gas. idk what to do?

Is your battery new? If the battery is new, the car could be starting and running solely on battery power and the alternator could be bad. 2 weeks after I bought my Q45, the alternator started acting up and soon after caught on fire. Use a voltmeter to check the alternator output if you can have someone start it while you're checking it. It should be between 13.5 and ~14 volts when the engine running. if you can start the car a bunch of times without battery dying than it probably isn't the alternator because once battery gets low it won't start anymore but its not a bad idea to atleast consider it.
