e-brake light

e-brake light keeps on lighting up even if the e-brake is down...i keep on pulling the e-brake up and placing it back down and the light disappears for a few seconds then comes back on again...what shuold i do?should i replace anything?

it happened to me too, make sure that the brake fluid is full because there is a float on the cap that monitors fluid level. do that before you start replacing peaces.

Just had this happen with my civic. Couldn't find an answer anywhere, so ignored it... until something wrong. Clutch went straight to the floor, wouldn't come back up, clutch was somehow still engaged. I ended up having a bad slave cylinder and replaced the master cylinder while I was down there. The light went away the second I filled it up and hasn't come back since. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.
Put some brake fluid in it ole Honda remedy it will work 10 out of 10 times when you have that happen

Clutch master cylinder was bad. Replaced it and I was good to go. The brake fluid was fine, it was the master cylinder itself
