Question type: Car Customization

Hi..I was wondering what all I would need to do a swap in my Sol from a 99 civic D16Y7 to a K20A series engine. The current engine has SOHC and no vtec. So what would i need to get for the swap to work? will i need a complete swap? what? any help appreciated :)

well considering ur going from non vtec to vtec ur gonna need a conversion harness. u will also need axles, motor mounts, shift linkage and cpu. af course to get it all in there u will prolly have to do some beating on the firewall. but yeah u need a complete swap and u will have to pick the mounts and harness conversion from hasport. dont think i left anything out but if i were u i would do a b-series swap. lot less hassle and less expensive with same outcome.
