I'm thinking of swapping my d Series for a B16. Could I still get close to 500hp with a B16 vtec?

The b16 swap can give only about 225 hp but the lighter your car is the the better the car feels

i know that engine will be easier to find, but ive seen b18 swaps with K20 heads that have produced a decent amount of power
