When should the timing belt be replaced?

Timing belts should genereally be changed btwn 60-80k miles. Sounds like you've had a good innings at 137k with no change!

I'm not sure about that, unless you specified it. Has the car been going to Honda for service for the whole 137k? If so, then I imagine Honda would have changed it or mentioned it to you along the way, but it's best to look into it and double check for your peace of mind, as it could cause problems if you don't change your timing belt when needed.

The transmission and timing belt are on opposite ends of the transmission. It's doubtful they considered changing it.
