Not sure on that one. The "fit" part is fairly easy to find out by looking at size in general. It's not a sure fire answer but will tell you enough to look further or stop. The biggest problems are mounting the engine to both the engine mounts and the tranny. This usually requires a lot of labor in fabrication. Whoever does it may have to relocate the engine mounts as well as make new ones. You may also have to consider a tranny swap too as Isuzu and Honda in all likelihood don't play well together. The tranny also has to fit in the available space as well. It can (and usually is) a real pain and a lot of money...far more than you would spend on an engine rebuild or a new Honda crate motor. I would go with the new crate motor myself. Most car companies throw in whatever technological advancements for smooth, longer running, better performing and/or more fuel efficient with the new engines and trannys. You will also get a warranty. The peace of mind is worth a lot. Good luck.
