Why did 2007 Chevy aveo air condition compressor shut down for 10 to 15 seconds and stop cooling. Note 100 to 104 temp outside.

Just had air unit replaced three days ago. It's 100' to 102' outside my AC on 07 aveo is shutting down as I sit in idle.

Its probably a pressure issue. You 'll have to get a gauge and check your pressures on the pump.

My truck does that due to a bad radiator fan motor. If the fan motor or relay goes bad it will cause the compressor to kick off at idle and/or low speeds. Check to see if yours is running at an idle.

I bet that was not you who replaced the air unit. why don't you go back to service and report malfunction? Because it realy sounds like one. Good luck!
