Blazer motor swap

I have a 2000 chevy s10 blazer with a blown
motor. I'm looking at a 2001 chevy s10  blazer
motor. Would the 01 blazer motor fit in my 2000
blazer?

I heard the knock sensors are different is that true?

yes and no...to the knockbbsensors.. do you have the wiring/brain for the 2001?? month differ between them might work out also..i would go for the swap but you didnt say what was blown on the 2000....rod...timming system..
