Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1996 chevy s10 4 wheel drive blazer, the
rockerarms are loose and I believe the cam is shot.
I have a 2000 chevy silverado 4x4 motor, will it be
compatible with my blazer?

They both 6 cylinder? Harness match or would you replace main harness with computer?

Yes they are both v6, I'm not sure if they match up or not. We would have to look and see.

Look at plugs on main harness to engine and then check ecm serial# if it doesn't just pull harness with ecm. Presto

Okay thank you, I'll check em out and see. I just hope the crank sensors match up and it will crank.

It'll work, the 96 uses 2 coolant temp sensors as opposed to the 2000 will only use one. Just swap them to the new motor and you'll be good. Also use your blazer oil pan and oil filter housing.
